A recent meeting was convened by Dong A Joint Stock Company (Dong A Chemical) to express thanks to Saigon Water Supply Corporation (Sawaco), a dependable partner in the southern market.
The Sawaco delegation visited and worked at Dong A Chemical on April 8 and 9, 2023, and a conference was held in the province of Phu Tho to commemorate the event. General Director of Dong A Chemical Nguyen Duc Trong expressed his gratitude. Thank you to Sawaco and the Southern Water clients who have been with and helped the business over the years. To develop high-quality products, the corporation is presently encouraging investment in new technologies and research. The 30% powdered PAC sedimentation aid product was the first NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 standard product to be registered by a Vietnamese business for residential use. The business will soon introduce imported chlorine products that adhere to NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 requirements. Dong A Chemical is dedicated to producing high-quality products with a concentration of above 70% that will benefit customers financially. Sawaco collaboration
In order to provide chemicals for Thu Duc Water Plant and Tan Hiep Water Plant, two sizable factories of the Corporation with a combined capacity of up to 1 million m3/day, from 2021 to the present, Dong A Chemical signed and put into effect nine bidding packages with Sawaco. Dong A Chemical has supplied 4,462 tons of liquid PAC, 1,662 tons of liquid chlorine, and 30% of powdered PAC. Additionally, the business received three contracts in 2023, delivering 2,052 tons of chlorine to Sawaco.

At the conference, Sawaco's deputy general director, Bui Thanh Giang, stated that, in the setting of several suppliers of input chemical goods, collaboration with Dong A Chemical has enabled Sawaco secure the safety of water supply. Nguyen Ngoc Diep, chairman of the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association, took part in the meeting of thanks and expressed his appreciation for the partnership between Dong A Chemical and Sawaco, describing it as one of the highlights of the members' endeavors. Around 350 persons are members of the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association, which prioritizes Vietnamese consumers using Vietnamese products and forgoes the use of floating chemicals of unidentified origin. The association works in the areas of water supply, drainage, and materials. The Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association would help Dong A build the network, according to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Diep, who also expressed his hope that the business will keep providing high-quality goods to support the Vietnamese water sector.

Over the course of its 20-year existence, Dong A Chemical has created several successful results. The company's manufacturing capacity has increased this year from an outdated technological line with a capacity of 6,000 tons/year to 40,000 tons/year, and it now produces a variety of high-quality goods. The company's revenue increased by almost 8 times between 2017 and 2022; the average growth rate was close to 30% per year; and the number of employees more than tripled. The leadership and production management team of the company were passed down from experts, seasoned engineers in the caustic soda-chlorine industry.
